UCLH STREET GALLERY, LONDON, 2016

An exhibition celebrating the art of drawing with works from Jessie Brennan, Ian Chamberlain, Simon Faithfull, Nina Mae Fowler, Ann-Marie James, Olivia Kemp, Whitney McVeigh, David M Price and Frances Richardson.

The exhibition presents a carefully chosen group of drawings and prints from invited artists who have been recognised for their skill and artistry in their field of work and whom have an impressive resume of awards and exhibitions between them. These nine artists show the variety and approach to drawing in the art world today.  The resulting exhibition illustrates the contributing artists’ highly individual styles both in theme and technique.

UCLH Arts and Heritage is the hospital arts and heritage project that serves UCLH NHS Foundation Trust and its surrounding community and is funded by charitable donations and fundraising. UCLH Arts and Heritage has established a reputation for programming innovative, quality art events and projects for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff.  It aims to provide a  welcoming, uplifting environment for all patients, visitors and staff through the use of a varied and stimulating arts and heritage programme, that reflects the diversity of all users of the Trust and in so doing improve patient wellbeing, boost staff morale and widen access to the Arts and the Trust’s rich heritage.
