The drawing I made especially for The Guiding Thread exhibition (Galerie Suzanne Tarasieve) is from an image of Helmut Berger embracing an ‘unknown guest’ at a party in Le Palace nightclub, Paris c.1978. The image seemed particularly pertinent for this group show both for its theme and its location (and of course my deep passion for Mr Berger). The handmade frame adds a further hug to this intimate yet celebratory exchange.
