The Lure of Collapse was a mini retrospective of Fowler’s works since 2011, including the series ‘Not Even in my Dreams’ which was made especially for the exhibition. This new series considers themes that are ever present for Fowler, images of longing, yearning, loneliness, stardom and desire. These drawings ask us to think about what we wish for and the consequences of our dreams.
