PORTRAITS FOR FOOD BANKS
£20,700+ RAISED
During the 2020 lockdown, Nina began an initiative called #portraitsforfoodbanks to raise money for The Trussell Trust, a charity who support a nationwide network of food banks and people in crisis. On the first day over £4000 was raised, with the total now over £20,700 and continuing to rise from print sales. Nina has since launched ‘The Cinema Portraits’ Project, raising money for two causes. With the need for food banks now unfortunately as vital as ever before, you can support The Trussell Trust by purchasing a fine-art print of the drawings of ‘famous faces’ that were commissioned as part of the initiative for just £35, with 20% directly donated to charity. Browse the available prints on the Nina Fowler Print website. Portraits include David Bowie, Marianne Faithfull, Gilbert and George, Patti Smith, Nick Cave and Nina Simone.
If you commissioned a portrait while this project was live, we are still raising funds for charity by reproducing your commissioned portraits for family members or friends as archival giclée prints, signed and dated by Nina.
